Lower Mainland Storms Hitting Hard

Over the past week, the Lower Mainland has been hit with uncharacteristically low temperatures, gusting winds and fast accumulating snowfall. All these factors can cause serious damage to marine vessels. Mad Props Marine has been working around the clock in efforts to aid local property and vessel owners keep up on snow removal, salting, securing and monitoring properties at this time.

Mad Props Marine’s Reminder for Boat Owners…

With all the rain in the upcoming forecast, this snow is about to become very wet. That wet snow will start to become heavy and we see a danger to your property and vessels.

A primary cause for a vessel to sink or a dock to overturn is that weight of melting snow in addition to the rain that is coming. Floating structures are also at risk with wet snow accumulating on decks and roofs.

This can cause serious damage to any property on or near the water. Boats, boathouses, floathomes and docks.

If you are away on vacation, possibly laid up with an injury or just simply can’t get to it, we can and we will do the heavy work for you!
